I trained originally as a Radiographer and Ultrasonographer and worked in the NHS for several years. I am very motivated, compassionate and a good listener.
I am a qualified Person-Centred counsellor and a registered and accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I am also registered with the Association of Christians in Counselling, ACC.
I also qualified as a clinical supervisor, and offer supervision to trainee counsellors and qualified counsellors.
I worked as a volunteer Counsellor with Association of Christian Counsellors Covid Crisis Support (ACC-CCSS) during the pandemic.
Through working in placements, I have gained considerable experience and knowledge in working with survivors of trauma, domestic violence, childhood sex abuse, and general counselling. I also have experience working with black and ethnic minorities and working with difference and diversity.
